Job Description

This full-time occupational therapy position offers the opportunity to provide hands-on support to students in a dynamic school environment located in El Prado, NM. Working 37.5 hours per week in person, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact across elementary, middle, and high school settings. The caseload includes approximately 30 students, primarily at the elementary level, giving you the chance to build strong therapeutic relationships and support developmental progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to support inclusive learning environments
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
  • Strong understanding of OT practices relevant to school-aged children
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high-quality care
  • Registered Occupational Therapist credential and appropriate state licensure
