Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and strengths
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Provide direct OT services to students, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
• Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies to promote student independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as an OT expert
• Help foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive
