Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide direct OT services to students, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies to promote student independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as an OT expert
- Help foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive
