A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy, located in El Cajon, CA. This position is focused on supporting the developmental and functional needs of elementary school students throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to elementary-aged students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
• Support academic achievement by addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities in the school environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials as required by the state of California.
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children in a school setting.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices, IEP development, and student assessment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and provide evidence-based therapy interventions.
