Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Background in school-based therapy strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and educational documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage caseload for K-12 population
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress throughout the school year
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for every student
- Promote positive student outcomes through adaptive techniques and integration of therapy goals into the classroom setting
