This full-time, onsite contract opportunity for the 20262027 school year offers an engaging role working with PreK5th grade students. With a manageable caseload of 40 students, youll have the chance to impact each childs educational journey while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and specialists.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Washington
- May require a Washington Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong ability to communicate with teachers, families, and administration
- Comprehensive understanding of child development and sensory integration
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in PreK through 5th grade during the 26/27 academic year
- Assess students needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Provide training and resources to staff and families, as appropriate
