An opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist who thrives in a school-based setting and enjoys making a direct impact on students daily lives. This full-time, contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and is designed for someone ready to start as soon as possible and serve through the end of the school year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience delivering OT services in schools preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Effective communication abilities for interacting with students and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of students requiring occupational therapy services
- Deliver both direct treatment and indirect consultative services tailored to each students educational needs
- Oversee case management, including conducting assessments and IEP development
- Track progress and maintain up-to-date records reflecting student growth and outcomes
- Participate in meetings with interdisciplinary teams, contributing insights and recommendations
