Desired Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Proficiency in evaluating, planning, and documenting therapy interventions
• Adaptable and innovative approach to problem-solving in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for occupational therapy services, developing targeted goals and treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapy to support fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills development
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT strategies in the classroom
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
