A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students within a school setting. This role focuses on providing targeted therapeutic services to help children improve their functional abilities and achieve academic and developmental success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy sessions based on student needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Assess students physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to design effective intervention plans
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt techniques and tools to meet diverse student needs
