Two Occupational Therapist Positions Available K-12 School Setting
Location: Easton, PA (with openings in Carbon County and Lehigh County)
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Assignment Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026 (tentative, aligned with school calendar)
Contract Type: School Year Contract
Position Overview:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to students with disabilities within a K-12 educational environment. These roles emphasize supporting students functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development to foster independence and maximize their success in school. Duties include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and execution, and ensuring adherence to all relevant state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, related service providers, and families to support student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings by providing assessments, goals, and progress documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilize technology efficiently for documentation and communication purposes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (mandatory)
- Proven experience working with students in special education settings
- Familiarity and experience with IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfort using electronic documentation systems and standard office software
Additional Information:
- Positions available in both Carbon and Lehigh counties
- In-person interview process only
- Candidates must submit proof of active PA licensure along with a detailed resume highlighting relevant experience
