Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience working within school environments, preferably across multiple grade levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse needs and helping them achieve their educational goals

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify and address fine motor, sensory-motor, and adaptive functioning needs related to academic performance
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in accordance with IEP goals
  • Consult with teachers and staff to foster supportive learning environments and adapt classroom strategies
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed and participating in team meetings
  • Provide ongoing education to staff and families on occupational therapy strategies to support student independence
