Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in working with students from elementary through high school
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for varied developmental stages

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students needs within educational environments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students goals and educational success
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Educate staff and families on best practices for supporting students occupational needs
