Qualifications and Skills:

• Must hold a valid and current Occupational Therapist license
• Experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP documentation and goal setting
• Strong communication and organization abilities
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability in changing school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine needs and develop individualized plans
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy treatments and interventions
• Track progress and maintain detailed case notes in compliance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for student supports
• Educate teachers and staff on classroom strategies to enhance student access and success
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about progress and recommendations
