This opportunity is for two Occupational Therapists to provide essential therapy services within school settings in the Douglasville, GA area. These positions will support students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering interventions either onsite or via teletherapy as needed.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Experience working in school-based OT services.
- Familiarity with home health OT, healthcare settings, and teletherapy modalities is highly valued.
- Ability to serve K-12 age groups effectively.
- Willingness to travel as part of the roles requirements.
Location and Schedule:
- Positions are based in Douglasville, GA.
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
- Five-day workweek schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy programs tailored to K-12 students.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to promote student progress.
- Utilizing teletherapy tools proficiently when delivering therapy remotely.
- Documenting and reporting therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
