Step into a vital role supporting middle school students as a contract Occupational Therapist near Douglasville, GA. This part-time opportunity focuses on providing individualized care to two students in 5th and 6th grade, ensuring they thrive academically and functionally.

Youll deliver 30 minutes of direct occupational therapy services per week to each student onsite in alignment with their IEPs, playing a key role in their development throughout the school year. This assignment runs through May 22, 2026offering the chance to make a meaningful difference over multiple semesters.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Possess a current and valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license, as well as GaPSC Certification (both required)
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Background in supporting students with disabilities highly valued
• Able to provide all required clearance documentation
• Committed to delivering in-person therapy sessions (onsite only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to each students IEP
• Evaluate and address needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and other school staff
• Offer actionable recommendations for classroom accommodations and instructional access
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with IEP mandates and relevant legal/educational standards
