Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in school or pediatric environments preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and effective documentation practices
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop creative, individualized therapeutic interventions
  • Positive attitude, compassion, and a commitment to student growth and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students functional abilities and create tailored intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students individually and in groups
  • Work collaboratively with special education teams to support inclusive learning environments
  • Document students progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Train and educate staff and families on supportive strategies for student progress
  • Maintain records in compliance with school district and state regulations
