An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students and educators near Detroit, MI. This contract position is scheduled to begin immediately and continue through the end of the current school year, ending June 11th, 2026.

In this role, you will work within a supportive school environment, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure students receive the services they need to succeed academically and socially. This is an excellent chance for an enthusiastic and compassionate OT to make an immediate impact in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and goal-setting for school-aged children
• Ability to develop and implement therapeutic interventions designed for educational environments
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to student success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for OT services
• Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
• Educate school staff and parents on recommended strategies and accommodations
