Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Illinois
  • Experience working in schools or with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Solid understanding of pediatric OT principles, assessments, and interventions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students motor and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Deliver direct intervention services to students across K-5 grade levels
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support integration of therapy strategies in the classroom
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer guidance and resources to families to encourage skill carryover at home
