Support student success and make a lasting impact across multiple campuses in Lake County, Illinois. This part-time contract position calls for a skilled Occupational Therapist to serve K-8th grade students at two to three campuses in North Chicago/Waukegan. Youll collaborate with educators and families, providing specialized therapy that empowers students to reach their potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or closely related field from an accredited institution
• A current occupational therapy license for Illinois and registration with the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR)
• Minimum of 3 years experience delivering occupational therapy services, including three years within a school setting
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple campus environments
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Passion for supporting student learning and development in diverse school communities

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations for K-8 students in accordance with their IEPs and school needs
• Travel between two to three school campuses within North Chicago/Waukegan to address student caseloads
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and compliance with state and district regulations
• Offer consultation and training to school staff to support integration of therapy goals within the classroom setting
• Contribute expertise in both pull-out and in-class models as appropriate
