This contract position focuses on serving students from PreK through 8th grade, helping them build skills for success both in and out of the classroom. Working part-time, 2-3 days per week, youll have the opportunity to flex your expertise while achieving a rewarding work/life balance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Illinois OT license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Familiarity with therapeutic interventions tailored to various developmental stages
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and participation
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Monitor and report on student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
• Provide support and recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
