Step into a dynamic role serving students throughout a large, diverse district as a contract Occupational Therapist. This full-time opportunity spans multiple school sitesfrom elementary to high schoolsupporting children and young adults from Pre-Kindergarten through age 22. Youll play a key role in enabling students to access their curriculum and participate fully in school life, providing essential therapy both individually and in group settings.

Youll enjoy a varied schedule, with full-time hours (35 to 37.5 per week) that adjust in accordance with each campuss start and end times. As an itinerant therapist, you'll collaborate with supportive teachers and staff at multiple locations, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each school community. The position is strictly on-site, offering daily engagement and hands-on experiences with your students and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Current Illinois school OT licensure
• Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability for managing itinerant schedules
• Fingerprinting and time-sensitive credentialing will be required before start

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students ages Pre K22 with a variety of needs
• Travel between assigned schools across the district as part of your weekly routine
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Act as a consultative partner to teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district standards
