Job Description

Make a difference each day by supporting students across diverse age groups as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Buffalo Grove, IL. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to work hand-in-hand with an Early Childhood Assessment Team and serve multiple elementary buildings, ensuring a varied and engaging experience as you help students reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold valid Illinois Occupational Therapist credentials
  • Previous experience in school-based OT preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload, adapting to the needs of different age groups (K-12)
  • Organized and able to work effectively across multiple school sites

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students on a K-12 caseload, tailored to each individual's educational needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success within the classroom setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
  • Travel between multiple school locations as assigned and adjust therapy plans based on changing student requirements

Role Details:

  • Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Typical Hours: 7:45am - 3:15pm
  • Caseload and age groups vary as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
