Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois occupational therapy license
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEP procedures and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative OT services in accordance with each students IEP
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Adapt materials and modify environments to ensure accessibility and successful participation in school routines
- Provide staff in-service training and support as needed
