Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (or related field) from an accredited institution
• Active occupational therapist license issued by the State and registration with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Minimum of three years providing occupational therapy services in a school setting
• Knowledge of age-appropriate interventions for K-8 students
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement treatment plans to promote students participation in school activities and routines
• Conduct assessments and gather input from educators, families, and students to identify needs and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each childs success in the classroom
• Document therapeutic services, progress notes, and necessary reports in compliance with state and district requirements
• Travel between two to three campuses within the specified area
