Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as an Occupational Therapist, supporting K-12 students across multiple campuses in the scenic northern suburbs near Des Plaines, IL. With five openings available for the 26/27 school year and a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, youll have the opportunity to positively shape student learning and daily life while collaborating alongside dedicated educators and professionals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Experience providing occupational therapy in a school-based setting, preferably K-12
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
• Passion for fostering student independence, engagement, and success
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and the capacity to adapt to varying caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school (K-12)
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
• Document treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Provide training and consultation to school staff regarding strategies, adaptive equipment, and accommodations
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
