Ideal Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Experience or training in school-based OT practices
- Teletherapy skills or willingness to learn remote delivery methods
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
- Adaptability to different age groups and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies for students in need of OT services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to implement IEPs
- Deliver therapy through direct onsite services or teletherapy platforms, based on assignment
- Maintain clear documentation on progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Foster inclusive learning environments that support student independence and participation
