Job Description

Provide specialized occupational therapy services in an educational setting with a focus on K-12 students, overseeing three campuses in the Des Plaines, Illinois area. This part-time contract role offers approximately 20 hours per week, spread over two to three days, to support student development and address individual therapy goals throughout the school year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to students needs within a school environment.
  • Coordinating services and ensuring compliance with state regulations and educational standards across multiple campuses.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports consistent with district and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of occupational therapy experience, with at least three years focused in a school setting.
  • Valid Illinois occupational therapy license and registration with the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR).
  • Ability to work independently while managing responsibilities across multiple locations.
