A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Denver, CO. This role involves providing therapeutic services to students within an educational setting to support their developmental and functional needs. The position requires traveling between schools to serve multiple locations, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to provide services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current state certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or pediatric settings.
- Ability to travel regularly within the Denver area.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
