Discover an exciting contract opportunity for experienced Occupational Therapists eager to make a meaningful impact in schools near the vibrant Denver area. Two positions are available: one full-time (approx. 37.5 hours/week) and one at 0.8 FTE, serving students from preschool through high school across two assigned school sites. Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license required
- Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) license and DORA certification mandatory
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong adaptability for working with a diverse student demographic, including specialized program needs
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students ages 3-18, addressing a wide variety of developmental and academic needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Support school staff and partner with families, ensuring comprehensive care for each student
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Attend the mandatory Summer Symposium new hire orientation from July 2731, 2026
- Begin on-site duties August 3, 2026, with the contract running through May 21, 2027
