Job Description
A rewarding contract opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in the Denver metro area. This role is ideal for an OT who thrives in school environments and is eager to make a significant impact on students learning and development. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with 37.5 hours per week. Exact campus assignments and caseloads will be determined closer to the start of the school year, and may vary based on district needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certificate
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to varied campus assignments and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT services to students, addressing a range of needs to support their success in school
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students functional abilities and recommend targeted therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team planning
