A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support student development and therapeutic needs within a school setting. Located in Delmar, MD, this role offers the chance to work closely with students to improve their functional abilities and participate actively in the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students motor, sensory, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to enhance students educational participation and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt interventions based on student needs and school schedules.
