Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience in a healthcare or school-based OT role is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and functional goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and implement classroom strategies
- Serve students in both individual and group settings, addressing a variety of needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Offer recommendations for classroom adaptations and assistive technology
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
