Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Occupational Therapist License in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with students across diverse grade levels (K-12)
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district standards
  • Offer staff and parent consultation or training to promote student engagement and academic success
  • Adapt interventions and materials to meet unique student goals and classroom activities
