Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable working on-site with staff and students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K12 students with varying levels of need
  • Deliver direct therapy, adapt interventions, and monitor progress to foster students independence and participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to incorporate OT strategies into the educational environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards and best practices
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and student support initiatives
