This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in a school setting in Decatur, GA. The role involves working 35-40 hours per week on a contract basis from January through the end of the school year. The ideal candidate will deliver both direct and indirect therapy services while managing cases and tracking student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to students
- Implement indirect therapy strategies and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Monitor and report on student outcomes to guide ongoing therapy
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Valid Georgia state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective case management
