Make a direct impact on K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a small public school district near Dearborn, MI. This position offers the chance to work with students across a range of ages and needs, providing essential OT support within a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan OT license required
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational therapy practices relevant to school settings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaboration with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans that foster students independence and success in their academic environment
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation and achievement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student progress and interventions
• Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of individual students within a school-based setting

Position Details:

• Contract role with consistent daytime hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
• 37.5 hours per week, following the school calendar
