Make a real impact supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the remainder of the school year. This position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11, providing a valuable opportunity to help students achieve their goals in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Understanding of IEP implementation and documentation standards
• Flexible, compassionate, and positive approach to supporting diverse learners

Your Role:

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess students physical, sensory, and cognitive needs to promote school participation and independence
• Develop and implement therapy goals with measurable outcomes
• Work closely with educators and allied professionals to modify classroom environments and support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
• Provide guidance and training to staff and families to reinforce therapy strategies across school settings
