Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP documentation and adherence to federal and state education regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a school environment

What Youll Do:

• Evaluate students to determine strengths, needs, and means of support for academic success and daily functioning
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Provide direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with educators, family members, and support staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom and home
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of student progress and therapy provided
