Youll collaborate with other dedicated professionals while serving K-12 students across two campuses, enriching your practice and influencing young lives each day.

Youll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 15-35 students, each with unique learning and behavioral profiles, including emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, learning disabilities, and more. Your skill in fostering development, independence, and confidence in children and adolescents will be highly valued in this setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapist license (CT OT Required)
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Strong ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Compassion for supporting students with a variety of disabilities and behavioral needs
• Flexibility to work with K-12 populations and travel between multiple campuses

Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and develop evidence-based intervention strategies
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
