Job Description

Seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to provide essential services for K-12 students across San Francisco. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact in diverse educational environments. Youll travel to multiple schools within the district, supporting students functional, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist License in the state of California (required)
  • Previous pediatric or schools-based occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage an itinerant schedule and travel within San Francisco
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • No educator credential required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a varied caseload of K-12 students at multiple school sites
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with IEP requirements
  • Provide strategies for classroom and home environments to maximize students academic access and participation
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs across different settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings as an OT representative
