Providing occupational therapy services within a dynamic school setting in Cypress, TX, this full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support students ranging in age from 3 to 21 years. You will work within an assigned zone, serving multiple schools and delivering evaluations and therapy services aligned with educational goals. Active Texas OT licensure is required, and candidates must be prepared to complete fingerprinting as part of district credentialing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students aged 3-21.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Attend ARD meetings to collaborate with educational teams.
- Manage caseload effectively across multiple schools within an assigned area.
- Coordinate with school staff to optimize student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas OT licensure required.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Open to highly qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with substantial school experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse student needs.
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting clearance.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Cypress, TX (Houston area, southwest side).
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Contract role with immediate start through May 21, 2026.

Candidates with 0-2 years of school experience can expect a competitive pay range starting at $46/hour, increasing with experience up to $58/hour for those with 10+ years.
This position requires a timely credentialing process and prescreen interviews that can be scheduled flexibly between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST.
