Make a difference in students lives by providing essential occupational therapy services in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time optionschoose between 37.5 or 32 weekly hoursallowing for flexibility to fit your needs. Youll be working with a diverse student population, serving grades K-12 throughout the 26/27 school year. There are two positions available, presenting a chance to collaborate with an energetic, multidisciplinary team near Crystal Lake, IL.
Desired Background:
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in educational or school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help students achieve academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and professional requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development
