This contract opportunity offers both full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (32 hours) options, with two positions available, so you can choose the schedule that best fits your needs. Youll collaborate closely with educational staff to make a lasting impact on students growth and learning.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based OT services
- Ability to effectively assess and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse student populations, families, and school teams
- Adaptability to meet the needs of students across grades K-12
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement goal-oriented IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in classroom and small group settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings with staff and parents to review and update student plans
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines for service delivery
