With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, youll support K-12 students throughout the upcoming 26/27 academic year, providing essential OT services in a collaborative and enriching educational environment near DeKalb, IL.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (IL OT License required)
  • School-based OT experience preferred, but strong healthcare OTs encouraged to apply
  • Ability to build rapport with students ranging from Kindergarten through high school
  • Collaborative communicator who enjoys working alongside teachers, specialists, and families
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and time management skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
  • Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain detailed documentation
  • Consult with school staff to adapt classroom environments for student success
  • Provide training and recommendations to parents, teachers, and support teams
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.14 to $68.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
