This opportunity runs from early August to late May, offering full-time hours throughout the academic year. Both onsite and virtual options are accepted, providing flexibility for your professional and personal needs. Multiple positions are available, so whether you flourish working with elementary, middle, or high school students, your preferences will be thoughtfully considered.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Possess a current, valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Demonstrate background in school-based therapy, supporting children and adolescents.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Show adaptability and initiative in managing varying caseloads and therapy plans.
- Comfortable with both individual and group service delivery.
- Prioritize ethical practice and confidentiality in school settings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver therapy services in accordance with students IEPs.
- Document progress and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to meet educational goals.
- Provide consultative support and training for educators and caregivers.
- Adapt interventions for remote (VOCO) or onsite service models as requested.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team and IEP meetings as required throughout the contract period.
