Job Description

This contract-based opportunity for an Occupational Therapist centers around providing dedicated services in a supportive educational environment. You'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth, while working near the vibrant community of Corona, CA.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state Occupational Therapy licensure or eligibility
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication abilities to partner with staff, students, and families
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and writing effective IEP goals
  • Organized, adaptable, and passionate about student-centered therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT services to meet student IEP goals
  • Administer assessments and contribute skillfully to eligibility meetings
  • Design and implement therapeutic activities to support academic participation and motor skills
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families about strategies and progress
  • Document all therapy sessions, maintain compliance with all reporting requirements
  • Participate in school-based meetings and professional development
