An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver services across several educational sites near Corona, CA. This full-time, full year position serves students aged 3-22 with mild to severe, multiple disabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility and strong assessment experience, particularly with the BOT 3 and Peabody, to support diverse student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials for school-based work
- Direct experience working with school-aged children, including those with multiple disabilities
- Proficient in administering the BOT 3 and Peabody for a range of ages and abilities
- Demonstrated strength in using assessment data to formulate recommendations and address concerns from families and staff
- Comfortable with a fluctuating caseload and performing both consultations and assessments as needs arise
- Itinerant role requiring travel to multiple campuses weekly (mileage cannot be billed)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT assessments and services to students as identified by district needs
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate documentation for each student
- Consult with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure coordinated care
- Use standardized tools and data-driven insights to monitor progress and support IEP recommendations
- Adapt scheduling flexibly, optimizing service delivery across sites as student needs evolve
