Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
• Experience in school-based practice, home health, teletherapy, and/or healthcare OT
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to fit diverse student needs and age ranges
• Familiarity with common school-related disabilities and IEP processes preferred
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy in-person and via telehealth as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school and state guidelines
• Consult with school staff, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
• Offer support and education to caregivers and teachers
