This full-time, contract-to-hire position offers 40 hours per week, engaging with a caseload of approximately 45 students. Your expertise will help students thrive across a range of settings, including traditional schools, home health, and teletherapy.
To be successful in this role, youll bring a compassionate approach to diverse student needs and collaborate closely with educators and families. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, communicative, and committed to delivering holistic occupational therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Arizona OT license
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy occupational therapy
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy to enhance students independence, participation, and access to curriculum
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress and complete timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
- Educate caregivers and school personnel on adaptive strategies
