Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active GA Occupational Therapy License
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for students with diverse needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
What Youll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to preschool and elementary students, using evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students sensory, motor, and functional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support, education, and resources to staff and caregivers
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
