Job Description

Make an impact supporting students as a contract occupational therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Concord, NH. Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Familiarity with interventions suited for students from elementary through high school

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities to determine needs and service eligibility
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions tailored to each students goals
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom routines
  • Attend IEP team meetings, contributing expertise to develop holistic plans for students
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress while adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding strategies to support student success
