Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid OT licensure and registration, with pediatric or school-based experience highly preferred
  • Strong ability to assess and address fine motor and gross motor skill development
  • Previous work experience with children ages 3-14 in school or clinical environments
  • Knowledge of IEP process and special education best practices
  • Effective communication with parents, staff, and external providers
  • Flexibility and creativity in developing interventions that engage young learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform occupational therapy evaluations for students from Pre-K to Middle School
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to achieve student goals
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and caregivers
  • Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs across varied age groups
