Make an impact in the lives of students by providing skilled occupational therapy services in an engaging educational setting near Concord, CA. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule37.5 hours per weekfor the entire 2026-2027 school year, supporting one school location.
As a valued professional, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and enhance their participation in educational activities. The role primarily involves general occupational therapy responsibilities, addressing the diverse needs of students in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of California
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a collaborative approach to working with school staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students functional abilities within the school environment
- Design and implement targeted interventions to support fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, plans, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
