Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students ages 5-22 as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, utilizing your expertise across in-person and teletherapy settings. With both part-time (0.8 FTE) and the potential to move into full-time availability, youll find the flexibility to match your preferences and schedule.

By joining as a credentialed Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, provide individualized interventions, and help students develop the skills they need to thrive. The assignment runs from August 13, 2025, through June 10, 2026, with options to extend for ESY (Extended School Year). Interviews are conveniently conducted via Zoom.

Qualifications:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license
  • Credentialed experience in school-based, teletherapy, and in-person OT settings
  • Strong track record supporting students with diverse needs, ages 5-22
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to complete onboarding, including school-required training and background checks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in both virtual and on-site environments
  • Assess students, develop intervention goals, and craft individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to support students progress
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet varied student needs
