Job Description

Make a real impact supporting students growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist for the 20252026 school year in the Concord, CA areafocused on both on-site and teletherapy services. Youll work closely with a diverse caseload of students ranging in age from 522 years, supporting their access to education and daily living skills. Theres an opportunity to start at 0.8 FTE, with potential to transition to full-time. Extended School Year (ESY) options may also be available!

Bring your expertise in OT, especially with school-based and teletherapy experience, to a collaborative team serving multiple school sites. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, and the district values credentialed candidates able to actively contribute from day one. Qualifications:

  • Current California OT license (required)
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy and teletherapy delivery
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of students aged 522
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learning needs and settings
  • Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, providing direct and consultative OT services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student achievement
  • Offer both in-person and remote OT sessions, as needed
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of all services provided
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student planning
