Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Concord, CA. Youll provide essential services to learners aged 5-22, working collaboratively to foster independence and maximize educational success. This opportunity spans the full academic year, with an August start and June finish, along with the possibility of extended school year (ESY) services. The district is open to both part-time and full-time schedules, offering flexibility for those seeking either 0.8 or 1.0 FTE.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active California Occupational Therapist license (CA OT)
  • Experience delivering OT services in school settings, including familiarity with IEP processes
  • Teletherapy proficiency is a plushybrid or remote models may be discussed
  • Competence supporting diverse caseloads, including students with a wide range of abilities aged 5-22
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with remote/Zoom-based interview and onboarding processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support students motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to enhance their participation in school activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
  • Maintain detailed documentation and provide input for meetings and progress reporting
